The Rundown – City finalizes tax abatement for Hillsboro Industries

On Tuesday, the City Commission finalized a 10-year tax abatement and issuance of Industrial Revenue Bonds for Hillsboro Industries’ new Newton facility. The Hillsboro-based truck bed and trailer manufacturer recently opened its new 56,000-square-foot manufacturing facility on East First Street.
