Bulky Item Pickup

Bulky item pickup is available to residential customers for $10 per pickup. It may be used for the disposal of tree limbs or up to five items of furniture, televisions, appliances, carpeting, and other large items. Please note: Tree limbs count as one pickup by themselves.

Items are picked up on a first-come, first-served basis, usually on your regular collection day.

Eligibility 

You must be an active City sanitation customer, you must have the account in your name, and you must be the owner or occupant of the property.

The following items CANNOT be collected as bulky item pickup: regular trash or recyclables, construction materials, automobiles, hazardous waste, tires larger than passenger cars/trucks, or any waste from a contractor, including tree limbs.

Scheduling

Schedule your pickup at least one day before your regular collection day. Call 316-284-6070, download the Newton Connect app, or use the form below. You will need your City utility account number to place an order.

  • You MUST sign up with an email address to submit a request.You can receive updates along the way and view all your reported issues. Staff can contact you, if necessary, for extra information.
