Boyd Avenue to close for sewer project

A section of North Boyd Avenue will be closed beginning Tuesday, March 17 during construction of a sanitary sewer extension for Emberhope’s Hope Estates project.

At Tuesday’s meeting, the City Commission took the next step for extension of the Sand Creek Bike Path, approving an agreement with BNSF Railway for preliminary engineering, as the path will cross through BNSF's right-of-way.

The Rundown – APAC plant coming to Logistics Park to supply GAF

At Tuesday’s meeting, the City Commission approved the sale of about 20 acres in the Kansas Logistics Park to APAC-Kansas for a rock and asphalt material production facility. The plant will be a direct supplier for GAF’s shingle manufacturing facility that is under construction.
