  • South Pine from SE 14th to Washington

Slate Creek Elementary and Chisholm Middle School

  • Blaine from East Fourth to East Broadway

Sunset Elementary

  • West Fifth from Boyd to Grandview

  • Windsor from Normandy to West 17th
  • West 17th from Windsor to Main

The following streets have been added to the Snow Route to improve travel for the large number of employers in the east-side industrial area:

  • SE Ninth from Industrial Road to Hillside
  • East First from the city limits to Hillside
  • Hillside from East First to SE 12th Street
  • SE 12th from Spencer to Hillside
  • Hillside from SE 12th to south paved limits

The City’s Snow & Ice Control Route includes streets in the central business district, principal arterials, and most collector streets. The goal is to provide a safe route of travel for emergency vehicles and law enforcement, and to clear a path within a few blocks of each residential area.
