Beginning at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, the westbound lane of East First Street will be closed between High and Walnut as City crews work to repair a water leak in the 400 block of East First. The closure is expected to continue through the weekend.
During the closure, westbound traffic on East First will be detoured north on High to East Third, west on Third to Walnut, south on Walnut back to First.
If any disruptions to water service occur during the repairs, all affected residents and businesses will be notified directly by the Water Division. Street repairs will begin as soon as the water line has been fixed.
