Fresh Air Friday

Join us at 10 a.m. at Athletic Park shelter for this free family fun exploring Newton's natural world. We will begin with Storytime and then head off to adventure along the Sand Creek Bike Path!

What to expect:

  • Offsite Pre-K Storytime led by Newton Public Library Children's Services Coordinator Sara Rickard.
  • Plant ID & exploration with experts from the City's Parks Division.
  • Edible plant hunt spearheaded by Health Ministries Clinic's Diabetic Educator and edible plant guru, Erica S. Plus learn a little about Summer sun safety.

We can't wait to go on these adventures with you, explore areas of Newton, and make lasting memories!
