Sand Creek Station Golf Course celebrates 20 years

Sand Creek Station, one of Kansas' premier public golf destinations, will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a community golf scramble on Saturday, July 11, recognizing two decades of championship golf, tourism, economic impact, and community engagement in Newton.
Since opening in 2006, Sand Creek Station has welcomed thousands of golfers from across Kansas and beyond while earning national recognition as a host site for prestigious events, including multiple NJCAA National Championships, the 3rd U.S. Adaptive Open Championship, and many more prestigious golf outings. The course has built a reputation for exceptional course conditions, memorable events, and outstanding hospitality, helping establish Newton as a destination for golf.
Sand Creek Station has evolved from a vision for community recreation into a nationally recognized golf destination, welcoming competitors and visitors from across the country while remaining a valued asset to the Newton community. To commemorate this milestone, Sand Creek Station will host its 20th Anniversary Golf Scramble on Saturday, July 11, featuring an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The event will bring together golfers, community members, sponsors, partners, supporters, and longtime patrons to celebrate the people and relationships that have contributed to the course's success over the past 20 years.
