The City of Newton is retiring its mobile app in September and replacing it with a web-based citizen request system.

The webpage at www.newtonkansas.com/report has the same functionality as the app – reporting issues like potholes, code violations, park problems, etc.

The servie is being migrated to the City’s iWorq software system to streamline operations. The City also uses iWorq for permitting, code enforcement and Public Works workflow.

Utility customers can schedule bulky item pickups at www.newtonkansas.com/bulky.

The app will no longer be available for download in app stores beginning Sept. 1. For those who already have the app, it will remain on their phones but will no longer be functional.

Users should delete the app from their devices and update their bookmarks to use the links above.
