Job Title: Equipment Operator II
Department Public Works, Street Division
Reports To: Street Supervisor
Pay Range: Grade 10; Non exempt; $15.11 to $19.74 per hour

Position Description:
Under the supervision of the Street Supervisor, the Equipment Operator II operates heavy equipment and machinery in the maintenance of city streets. The employee in this position is required to have considerable skill in operating heavy construction and street maintenance equipment with complex controls. The Equipment Operator II excavates pavement, grades roads and ditches and operates specialized machinery. This employee will perform various manual labor tasks associated with street maintenance.
