Call Before You Dig
Before you install a sprinkler system, fence, or dig for any reason, call this number to make sure there are no utility lines going through your yard. Underground sewer, water, cable, telephone, gas, and electric lines will be marked for you. This doesn't cost you anything.

Kansas One Call is a notification center that is funded by a non-profit corporation. The service is free to everyone planning excavations. The operator will record all the necessary information, then transmit the information to all of its underground facilities.
Within three working days, underground utilities in the planned excavation area will be marked. Markings are valid for 10 days. Therefore it may be necessary to re-file your request if you need more time.
You are required to maintain a minimum distance of two feet from either side of the utility markings.
